2. 80cm Wedding Cake Hoop Stand - DISCOUNTED TO CLEAR

To see more images of the finishes and styles please see my facebook or Instagram on my homepage. This handmade 80cm hoop in 10mm solid steel and 45cm round rustic base is perfect for your wedding.

Suitable for a 4 tier cake that will be no wider than 36cm or 80cm tall.

Total stand is approximately 5kgs.

The base is made with reclaimed recycled 2.5cm thick timber scaffolding planks not new wood. This wood is responsibly sourced recycled wood. They all have a 'WEATHERED' finish and will have marks and indentations from the woods previous life. No two planks are the same.

PLEASE NOTE - They fit together by the hoop sitting on the supports between the timber planks which are 2.5cm deep and a minimum of 4-6cm of the hoop size will be used up by this. The base is set slighter wider to give room to decorate the hoop if you wish. We recommend using white tac on the supports underneath the hoop to cushion it if left plain. Alternatively, please add a note to the order if you reuire a tight fit to the hoop and base. 

BASE FINISHES

Light Rustic -  has the distressed weathered appearance plus a light varnish top coat.

Dark rustic - has a distressed weathered appearance but has a dark waxed applied plus a varnish top coat.

White Wash is painted white and sanded back to a distressed finish and you can see the grain of the wood in places.

Black & Grey Wash is a solid paint finish but you can see the grain of the wood in places.

Metallic colours (Limited range)  - where the grain still shows through but is given a light coat of finishing varnish.

There’s a choice of metallic finishes Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Gun metal grey and Copper - See  RUSTOLEUM spray paint for the colours of metallics used (available on Amazon) The steel will require a re-spray with regular use and is not powder coated so you are able to re-spray the hoop a different colour. Wood wax and varnish sprays are also available as part of the RUSTOLEUM range of products.

❤️ Decoration not included - suitable for DIY use. Hoop care -  Please be aware that the hoop & base may tarnish or could chip with over use (especially if used at Weddings every week) and the hoop is made from welded steel and if left out in changing weather conditions or is exposed to water the steel will rust over time - HOWEVER the hoops can sprayed with rustoleum spray (available in all the metallic colours used) so if you lightly sand the hoop you are able to re-spray the hoop again - a new coat of rustoleum will bring them back to life and you can continue to use the hoop for a number of years. Use Wood wax or varnish spray when the wood dries out for maintenance.
