Modern Medieval Magic
Photographer: Tara Winter - Pudding and Plum Photography
Location: Ordsall Hall, Manchester
This styled shoot took place in the historic Ordsall Hall which is a medieval mansion in the middle of the sprawling city of Salford! The concept centred around creating a modern twist on a medieval theme, with a blush and sage colour palette providing a softness to the dark grandeur of the venue.
Make your own traditions!
A traditional take on a wedding doesnt have to be that traditional! You can create a stunning modern effect by incorporating contemporary elements into parts of the day.
This macaron tower created by Patisserie Reine looks gorgeous on our gold mesh stand and is a great addition to a dessert table for your big day or event.
The beauty of building a "cake" like this is it is easy to share and you can incorporate lots of flavours and dietary requirements! The different colours also compliment the overall theme really well, adding a fun element to the traditional concept.
Industrial Edges add a modern edge...
The use of metal stands and accessories is a big trend for 2019 - here we have used a stand to welcome guests to the wedding and then repurposed it for the table plan. The table number holders look beautiful with the minimalist stationery from Lucy McSpirit Design and creates a feature for the feast table created by Perfect Day!
This was a fun shoot to be part of with a fab bunch of suppliers and organised by Worsley Creative.
