Octagon Cake Stand

This is a Handmade reusable Octagon hoop - in welded steel - not metal tubing. It comes with the correct base size to fit the hexagon. The size of the hexagon is measured from the top bar to the base. You need to allow 10cm clearance at the top of your cake.

Please be aware that international orders of 80cm or larger stands have a delivery excess to pay as the stand is classed as over sized. Youwillbe notifed of the delivery excess charge at the time of booking the courier.

Sizes available are as follows, which include the widest your base tier can be to sit on the base. 

50cm Octagon – with a Hexagon base (base tier needs to be 22cm wide or less)

60cm Octagon  – with a Hexagon base (base tier  needs to be 28cm wide or less)

70cm Octagon  – with a Hexagon base (base tier needs to be 32cm wide or less)

80cm Octagon – with a Hexagon base (base tier needs to be 38cm wide or less)

The reclaimed recycled wood bases are hand made and they are all 'weathered' is made in 2.5cm thick planks from used responsibly soruced scaffolding planks and no two planks are the same.

Finishes -

Light Rustic -  has the distressed weathered appearance plus a light varnish top coat.

Dark rustic - has a distressed weathered appearance but has a dark waxed applied plus a varnish top coat.

White Wash is painted white and sanded back to a distressed finish and you can see the grain of the wood in places.

Black & Grey Wash is a solid paint finish but you can see the grain of the wood in places.

Metallic colours (Limited range)  - where the grain still shows through but is given a light coat of finishing varnish.

There’s a choice of metallic finishes Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Gun metal grey and Copper - See  RUSTOLEUM spray paint for the colours of metallics used (available on Amazon)

PLEASE NOTE - They fit together by the hexagon sitting between the timber planks which are 2.5cm deep and a minimum of 4cm of the hex size will be used up by this. The planks will be slightly wider than the gap required (1cm) for the hoop so depending on the size of your cake bottom tier and if you are wrapping the hoop with decoration you may want to use sticky heavy duty pads to reduce the gap and cushion the hex as it will have some flexibility.

If you require the distance to be set and not allow any room for decorations or any particular cake size so please add any notes about any specific requirements to the order.

❤️ Decoration not included - suitable for DIY use. STEEL CARE -  Please be aware that the hoops may tarnish or could chip with over use (especially if used at Weddings every week) and the nonagon is made from steel and if left out in changing weather conditions or is exposed to water the iron will rust over time - HOWEVER the Nonagons are sprayed with rustoleum spray (available in all the metallic colours used) so if you lightly sand the hoop you are able to re-spray the hoop again - a new coat of RUSTOLEUM will bring them back to life and you can continue to use the hexagons for a number of years ❤️
